Sandra Weiss Quintet is the result of Sandra's visits to New York where she
played with American musicians. The possibility to record came about when Sandra
had a six month residency in NYC from the city of Zurich. The recording was an
amazing trip into the huge universe of sounds which were resolving into different
shapes and densities. You will not hear traditional sounds of a saxophone, trumpet,
bass and drums. You will be surprised to hear amazing sounds from the traditional
jazz instruments. Sandra Weiss - alto saxophone, bassoon, Jonathan Moritz -
soprano and tenor saxophones, Kenny Warren - trumpet, Sean Ali - bass, Carlo Costa - drums.
