Recorded live in Moscow (1978), West Berlin (1980) and Leningrad (1981) this CD combines encores of the greatest Russian new music trio.

It got ecstatic reviews with Kevin Whitehead writing in Cadence: "A wonderful record. Western musicians, be ever on the alert! The Ganelin Trio threatens your world superiority." Among the ten encores are jazz standards "Mack the Knife" and "Summertime."
